Join us for an afternoon of Local food talk, just as the growing season kicks into full force here in Waterloo Region we're going to be giving you the low down on how to make best use of what is grown locally.
We will have cooking demonstrations, cook tips and tricks to utilize ALL the food that can be grown here. We'll even surprise you with things you didn't know grew locally!
If you are thinking about buying more locally, but don't know where to start this is the place for you! You will have the opportunity to buy local products right on site as well as sample and talk to local farmers and vendors.
The afternoon will be divided into seasons and what to expect during certain seasons
and how to best prepare!
