SPRING HAS SPRUNG!

Spring has sprung! This is always a favourite time of year for us as many baby calves are born and we welcome baby chick & turkeys to the farm. Once the ground firms up and the grass gets well established on the pasture, the animals will be outside again!

We are currently taking orders for late May/June for all bulk freezer beef package sizes. As well, we continue to offer great variety meat box options to fit your budget, freezer space, and household size. Note that pricing has increased for 2017 by $0.25/lb on most beef packages.

Be sure to drop by and visit us at the Wilmot BrewHaHa event coming up on Saturday, May 6th in New Hamburg. This is going to be a fun evening with lots of food providers, local craft breweries & wine/spirit options. Tickets are $25 and include beverages & food. Vibrant Farms has partnered with Adam Brenner Personal Chef & you will be able to taste our organically raised grass fed beef at the event!

We want to hear from you - is there any interest in "Farm Camp" at Vibrant Farms the week of August 28-31 (4-days)? This would be for kids ages 6-12 yrs old with a price range around $200 for the week. It would run during the day at Vibrant Farms in Baden. The camp director would be Laura Baer (one of the farmer's daughters) & activities could include farm chores, organic gardening, cooking with produce from the community garden, visiting with the farm animals and much more! Email if you are interested in this opportunity and we will see if we can make it happen.

BrewHaHa 2017!

POP UP MINI MARKETS!

We are going to be holding some pop up mini markets & tours at the farm this spring/summer at Vibrant Farms. This will give you a chance to shop for meats & produce in a market style. You can see what we have in stock in the freezers and shop on the spot to take home that day. And there will be some very special offers for those who come out to the farm on these dates.

Laura Baer, one of the farmer's daughters, will be growing lots of produce in the on-site garden. The fresh produce will be offered as soon as there's some growing.

We hope to invite a few other friends of Vibrant Farms out to join us at these events so you can meet & discover more great offerings in Waterloo Region.

Make sure you are following us on social media as we will post additional dates & tours on there throughout the next few months. Upcoming mini market & farm tour dates are: May 13th, May 27th, June 10th with more to follow in July/August. Hours will be 10am to 12 noon for drop-in market which is free of charge to attend. An optional one-hour educational farm tour will take place on each of these dates as well at 11am for $5/person.

DINNER ON THE FARM!

Many of you are asking if we are hosting a dinner on the farm this summer or fall again...we hope so! A date should be settled on soon as we plan ONE large event on the farm. Until then - email us to let us know if you are interested in more info about the dinner to make sure we contact you directly when the date is booked.
