PASTURED CHICKEN NOW AVAILABLE!

Time to stock your freezer up for winter with organically raised pastured chicken! It's hard to find pastured chicken in the middle of winter.

Our birds were raised outside on organic pastures and fed organic non-GMO feed with NO corn.

Join us at our next pop-up mini market on Saturday, August 26th at the farm to shop our mini market from 10am to 12noon at Vibrant Farms. You can see what we have in stock in the freezers and shop on the spot to take home that day. And there will be some very special offers for those who come out to this mini market.

Bring the kids along to visit the outdoor chickens and turkeys on the pastures.

We will also have honey from Vibrant Farms, lots of pastured eggs, organic grass fed meats, and produce from our community garden for sale as well as Stock Exchange bone broths. Cash, cheque or etransfer only.

BULK BEEF PACKAGES - TAKING ORDERS NOW!

We have availability for bulk beef orders that will be available in late August/early September timeframe. This is the best time to order grass fed beef as the beef animals have been grazing on fresh nutrient-dense grasses all summer long.

Packages start at Introductory Pkg (1 cubic ft approx of meat), then Quarter Pkg, Side Pkg & the Whole Pkg. Email us soon if you are interested in ordering and we would be pleased to assist you to make sure you get the right package for your household size, freezer capacity & budget. LOCAL FOOD PARTNERSHIP

Over the past few months, we've partnered with Abe Erb restaurants in KW to offer their dining guests our organically raised chicken & grass fed beef. Abe Erb is striving to build relationships with local farms & food suppliers to really put their 'farm to table' philosophy into place at their restaurants. We've enjoyed partnering with them on this and look forward to continuing to supply them with local sustainably raised meats in future.

We enjoyed hosting one of the co-owners and chefs a few weeks ago as they came out to the farm for a tour & visit. Be sure to visit them at one of their locations!

AUGUST SPECIAL OFFER

In the spirit of community, we are helping a farmer friend move some ground beef that was organically raised, pastured, fed minimal grain including organic non-GMO corn. DINNER AT THE FARM

Thank you to those who joined us at the 'Dinner at the Farm' on July 16th at Vibrant Farms. Chef Adam Brenner served an amazing multi-course meal featuring the meats we raise and many other local foods. We had to share some of the great photos taken throughout the evening - we all had a great time despite a bit of rain at the beginning.

ODDS & ENDS AVAILABLE

Now and then we get 'odds & ends' in at the farm and right now we have quite a variety. Here is a list of what we have now:

pastured chicken liver, hearts, gizzards, necks & feet (2-3 lb pkg's; $5/lb)
organic grass fed beef tallow (larger pieces that need to be rendered) ($3/lb)
beef heart and tongue ($4/lb)
beef liver in 1 lb packages ($5/lb)
beef bones (mixed bag of 8-10 lbs for $25)
beef brisket (2-3 lbs) ($11/lb)
pastured pork lard (mini pieces that need to be rendered down) ($4/lb)
pig tail (1) & pig ears (2)
pork hocks ($8/lb)

Email us if you are interested in any of these items - first come first serve as there are limited quantities. Quite a few of these items we only get once or twice a year.

TURKEY - AVAILABLE MID SEPTEMBER

PRE-ORDER NOW for a turkey for Thanksgiving - we sell out each year. The turkeys are pastured on our certified organic farm & eat organic non-GMO feed with NO corn.
Flash frozen to seal in juices, flavour & quality.
Weight: 14-18 lbs each average
Cost: $6.00/lb
Each year we usually have a few birds around 10-12 lb mark & then 20 lb mark. Let us know if you prefer a certain size when ordering here.
