We are now taking orders for bulk beef packages for FALL 2019. We expect our next bulk beef packages will be ready in late Oct/early Nov (estimate). Late Fall is the perfect
time of year to order as the beef animals will have been grazing on fresh organic nutrient-dense grasses all summer & right through October.
There are packages in different sizes for all household sizes, budgets and freezer space.
Or try 'cow-pooling' with some friends or family by splitting a package to get the lower pricing and split the cost. Email us for details.
You can pre-order a package in our online store or email us for more information. There is still time to customize your
order!
The weather is turning cooler and the leaves on the trees are falling. Here on the farm it's time to prepare for winter. The hay is in the barn now and Dennis & Dan Baer (our farmers) have acquired 35 more acres of land to provide feed for their growing herd.
Cover crops are in the ground to ensure the soil stays healthy by breaking it up and bringing the nutrients that are deep within the soil to the surface. The surface plant is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to plant health! A cover crop is planted to manage soil erosion, soil fertility, soil quality, water, weeds, pests, diseases, biodiversity and wildlife in an agro-ecosystem. Our organic fed turkeys were raised out on pasture this summer and they are being shipped out on Thursday. The meat birds will be in our customers hands on Friday for their families to enjoy over the Thanksgiving weekend.
It is with sincere gratitude that we thank YOU - our customers for your support of local food and farms. We hope you enjoy the Thanksgiving weekend with good company, great food and time outdoors to admire the fall colors.

We have chickens available whole & quartered now! The chickens were raised through the summer months outdoors on organic pasture enjoying all the sunshine they could soak in!
Remember the more you order the lower the price per pound!
The birds ate NO corn - just organic non-gmo feed grown and mixed on the farm. Raised without antibiotics (and of course no added hormones which is the norm in Ontario).
